We recently had motorized curtains installed by Exotic Shades, and we couldn’t be happier with the product, service, and professionalism. They were punctual, efficient, and truly professional from start to finish. In a world full of competition, it’s the small details that set a company apart and they absolutely deliver on those details. From clear communication on the very first call, to the patience and guidance in their showroom, to the careful and efficient installation, they gave 100%. For that reason, I highly recommend them for any window treatment needs

What the reviews are about, and what they are not
Most of them mention the people: David at the consultation and the measure, Alexander on the installation, the seamstresses nobody meets but everybody sees. Many name the product: motorized shades, Lutron, drapery and sheers, blackout in a bedroom. Very few mention price, because a review is written after the work is done, when what remains is whether the shade is straight and the drapery hangs to the floor. If you want the prices, they are published on the pricing page and in the instant price tool; if you want the work, it is on the case studies and in the gallery.
Frequently asked
Are these reviews real?
Yes. Every one is a Google review from our Fort Lauderdale or Miami Beach profile, copied word for word with the reviewer's first name and initial. We do not write, buy or edit reviews, and we do not show reviews here that are not on Google.
Why are there two Google profiles?
Because there are two showrooms: the workroom and showroom at 4539 Powerline Rd in Fort Lauderdale, and the showroom South of Fifth in Miami Beach. Clients review the one they dealt with. The totals above are the live counts on each profile as of October 3, 2026.
Where else can I read reviews?
On Houzz, where the projects are also posted, and on the Better Business Bureau. Our credentials page lists certifications and awards.
Can I speak to a past client?
Often, yes. Ask at the consultation and we will put you in touch with a client whose project resembles yours, with their permission.
How do I leave a review?
Through the profile you dealt with: Fort Lauderdale or Miami Beach. A sentence about what we installed and where helps the next client more than five stars alone.
