Alendel Campo Fabric

A sheer in 36% polyester, 32% cotton and 32% linen at 122 in, railroaded, in 4 colourways
Alendel lists Campo as a sheer in 4 colourways, in 36% polyester, 32% cotton and 32% linen, at 122 in wide, railroaded. The colours run Candle, Maple, Stonington and Tapioca, across the beige, brown, grey and white families. All 4 flagged in stock by Alendel. It sits in Alendel's Tuscany Book.
At 122 in the cloth is turned sideways and the width becomes the height, so a window wall up to about 10 ft 2 in tall carries no seam at all; that is the wide-width advantage on floor-to-ceiling glass. The repeat is vertical 6.75 in, horizontal 17.5 in, matched across seams and from window to window, so the yardage is figured on the repeat rather than the finished size. The linen in it relaxes and tightens with the humidity, which is the look, and like every natural fibre it wants a lining that takes the UV rather than the face cloth. It weighs 0.89 lb per yard by Alendel's listing, which is on the light side. Care is WA-P (washable or dry clean). Alendel lists no fire test for it, so it is a residential cloth unless a treated lining or a certificate is arranged for the project. Every colourway is listed as Oeko-Tex.
What Campo does at the window, and what it does not
Best use
Campo is a sheer, so it goes where the point is daylight and the view: living rooms and dining rooms on the water, a wall of sliders, a bedroom by day with a blackout layer behind it for night. Railroaded at 122 in it runs seamless across a window wall on a ceiling track, ripplefold at 2.5 to 3 times fullness.
Light and privacy
By day it softens the light and frames the view. After dark, with the room lit, the room is visible from outside: sheers are layered with a blackout or lined panel where privacy matters, or with a solar roller behind for glare by day.
Cloth and care
36% polyester, 32% cotton and 32% linen; 0.89 lb per yard; care WA-P (washable or dry clean). Cotton and linen are lined here for the sun, and they move a little with the humidity, which is part of the look. Listed as Oeko-Tex.
Limitations
No privacy at night with the lights on, and no blackout; it is layered where either is needed. Railroaded wide-width goods are not cut into Roman shades; for a matching Roman we pick a 54 inch cloth from the same book. The seamless drop tops out at about 10 ft 2 in; a taller wall is seamed or turned back up the roll. No fire listing from Alendel, so a commercial or condo common-area job needs a certificate arranged for the project or another cloth.

Width, content, repeat, care code, fire listings and weight per yard are Alendel's own listing for each colourway, captured from its trade catalogue; the stock flag is Alendel's public availability filter on the day we read it and is confirmed against the order before anything is cut. We bring the Alendel books to the consultation.
Where Campo works here
Nothing suits a wall of South Florida glass like a sheer, and Campo goes where our sheers go: Brickell and Miami Beach condos, Fort Lauderdale waterfront homes, Boca Raton and Palm Beach island. Railroaded at 122 in it runs seamless on a recessed Somfy or Lutron track across an ocean wall, the fullness trimmed so the stack clears the glass, over a solar roller for the glare by day. Every panel is cut and sewn by our five in-house seamstresses in Fort Lauderdale.
For the same use, compare Campo with Brent (sheer, 116 in railroaded, 19 colourways), Avery (sheer, 118 in railroaded, 5 colourways) and Arezzo (sheer, 121 in railroaded, 4 colourways); the table on each page lists the width, content, care code, fire listings and weight side by side.
Campo: frequently asked
How many colours does Alendel Campo come in?
4 colourways by Alendel's listing, all 4 flagged in stock by Alendel. Every one is on this page with its swatch, colour code and FB item number, and we bring the shortlist to the consultation so the colour is judged in your own light.
Can Campo run seamless across a whole wall of glass?
Yes. At 122 in it is railroaded: the cloth is turned sideways, the width becomes the drop, and a window wall up to about 10 ft 2 in high carries no seam. Taller than that it is seamed, or run up the roll with a seam at each width.
Is Campo fire rated?
Alendel lists no fire test for it. That is normal for a residential decorative cloth; where a building or a project asks for NFPA 701 on the drapery we pick a listed cloth from the same book or arrange a certificate for the job.
What does Campo cost made up as sheers?
It is quoted from the yardage: the width and height of the window, the fullness, the repeat if there is one, the lining and the track or rod. The pricing page has real numbers for sheers, motorized tracks and blackout draperies, and a quote for Campo follows from a measure. Ask for a price with the button above and we come back with a figure, not a range.
