A railroadable light-filtering weave in six cloud colours
Stratus is a 100% polyester Gallery fabric, light-filtering at under 3% openness, 116 inches wide, PVC-free, lead free and anti-microbial, in six colours (Swan, Oyster, Sail, Chiffon, Earl Grey, Chrome). Unusually for a designer light-filtering fabric it is railroadable as well as seamable, so it can be turned to cover an extra-wide opening in one piece.
Stratus Blackout carries the six colours over an acrylic foam backing; it is seamable but not railroadable. Both are cleaned by dusting and vacuuming.

What does railroadable mean?
The fabric can be run sideways on the roller, so its 116-inch width becomes the shade's height and the shade's width is limited only by the roller system. It is how we cover a very wide opening with a single shade and no seam.
How wide can a Lutron Stratus shade be?
Lutron publishes a maximum usable fabric width of 116 inches for Stratus. It can be seamed for wider openings, or two shades share one headrail and move together. We confirm the exact limit for the chosen system when we measure.
