Alendel lists Iconic as a print in 2 colourways, in 100% cotton, at 55 in wide. The colours run Blushing and Maya, across the pink and blue families. None flagged in stock by Alendel at the time of reading, so every colour is a mill order. It sits in Alendel's Meadow Book.

At 55 in it is cut up the roll like a conventional drapery cloth: a panel joins widths at the seam, which sits inside a pleat, and a Roman shade takes one width up to roughly 50 inches finished before it needs a joined width. The repeat is vertical 46.6 in, horizontal 46.6 in, matched across seams and from window to window, so the yardage is figured on the repeat rather than the finished size. Cotton takes a print with a soft matte face; like linen it wants a lining that carries the UV load, and on a west-facing window we line generously so the face does not fade. Alendel lists the weight at 1.52 lb per yard, heavy for a print, so the track or rod is sized to carry it. Care is P (professional dry clean); Alendel's own line reads: dry clean. It carries CAL 117, NFPA 260 and UFAC Class 1, the upholstery flammability listings; and FMVSS 302, the automotive interior test. Every colourway is listed as Oeko-Tex.
