Alendel lists Sparkle as a sheer in 3 colourways, in 90% polyacrylic and 10% linen, at 120 in wide, railroaded. The colours run Chrome, Pewter and Taupe, across the grey and beige families. All 3 flagged in stock by Alendel. It sits in Alendel's Transparency Book.
At 120 in the cloth is turned sideways and the width becomes the height, so a window wall up to about 10 ft tall carries no seam at all; that is the wide-width advantage on floor-to-ceiling glass. The repeat is vertical 11.75 in, horizontal 9.8 in, matched across seams and from window to window, so the yardage is figured on the repeat rather than the finished size. Linen brings the slub and the matte hand, and it moves a little with the humidity, which is part of its character; it wants a lining that carries the UV load, and on a west window we line generously so the face does not fade. It weighs 0.80 lb per yard by Alendel's listing, which is on the light side. Care is WA-P (washable or dry clean); Alendel's own line reads: washable, dry clean. Alendel lists no fire test for it, so it is a residential cloth unless a treated lining or a certificate is arranged for the project. Every colourway is listed as Oeko-Tex. It comes with a weighted hem in the selvedge, which is why the wide sheers hang plumb without a chain weight from us.
What Sparkle does at the window, and what it does not
Best use
Sheers are our most requested drapery and Sparkle is used as one: floor to ceiling on a ceiling-mounted track, ripplefold or pinch pleat, set at 2.5 to 3 times fullness so the wave is even from end to end. The wide width means a whole wall in one piece.
Light and privacy
By day it softens the light and frames the view. After dark, with the room lit, the room is visible from outside: sheers are layered with a blackout or lined panel where privacy matters, or with a solar roller behind for glare by day.
Cloth and care
90% polyacrylic and 10% linen; 0.80 lb per yard; care WA-P (washable or dry clean). Cotton and linen are lined here for the sun, and they move a little with the humidity, which is part of the look. Listed as Oeko-Tex.
Limitations
No privacy at night with the lights on, and no blackout; it is layered where either is needed. Railroaded wide-width goods are not cut into Roman shades; for a matching Roman we pick a 54 inch cloth from the same book. The seamless drop tops out at about 10 ft; a taller wall is seamed or turned back up the roll. No fire listing from Alendel, so a commercial or condo common-area job needs a certificate arranged for the project or another cloth.

We do not cut railroaded wide-width goods into Roman shades; the weave runs the wrong way for the folds. For a matching Roman we pick a 54 inch cloth from the same Alendel book, and the panels stay in Sparkle.
What does Sparkle cost made up as sheers?
