Control4 is one of the most widely installed smart-home platforms in South Florida - one app and one set of keypads for lighting, music, theater, security, and climate. We design, sew, and install the window treatments that complete it: motorized roller shades, blinds, sheers, and couture motorized drapes on Control4-compatible motors, programmed into your rooms and scenes alongside your Control4 dealer.
Recently: Trump Tower III, Sunny Isles Beach - Crestron shading hardware brought natively into the residence's Control4 scenes and keypads, alongside the home's AV partner. Also: a traditional oceanfront mansion on Bay Drive, Pompano Beach - every Somfy RTS shade in the house on Control4 through a Somfy URTSI II, a keypad on every wall and the app when the owner is away.
Tap "Good Morning" and the bedroom sheers glide open as the music starts; "Movie Night" drops blackout as the lights dim; schedules follow sunrise and sunset so the house manages glare and heat on its own. The motor moves the shade. The fabric decides the light.
On a Control4-integrated shade the fabric is the same Mermet or Phifer screen we put on any tube, and its published numbers do the real work. Openness, 1% to 10%, sets the view and the daylight. Colour sets what happens to the sun's energy: a white 3% E Screen reflects 73% of it and passes 13% of daylight, the same weave in Charcoal/Grey reflects 10%, absorbs 85% and gives a far sharper view (Lutron rates them 17% and 42% view-through). A blackout passes nothing, and its street-side colour still decides the heat. The driver moves the shade; the exposure and the view choose the fabric.
