What are Forest roman and roller shade systems?
Forest's roman and roller range has 10 US collections: roman shade headrails (RBS, RBS XL, RBS Motorized, BCS and the Endeavor kit) and complete roller shades (Apollo, Mercury and Atlantis). The RBS roman headrail starts at $191.26 for up to 48 in wide, and an Apollo roller shade complete with stock fabric starts at $294.27.
Every price on these pages is Forest's 2026 retail price in US dollars, hardware only. Exotic Shades supplies and installs Forest hardware from Miami to Palm Beach, with the drapery sewn in our own Fort Lauderdale workroom.
Headrail or complete shade?
Roman headrails
RBS lifts up to 18 lb by chain, RBS XL up to 24 lb, RBS Motorized up to 10 lb and BCS up to 45 lb with its AC motor. We sew the roman shade in our workroom and fit it to the headrail.
Motorized roman kit
Endeavor pairs a 1.8 Nm battery motor with a 38 mm tube for romans up to 16 lb, on the same remote as Forest motorized drapery.
Complete roller shades
Apollo, Mercury and Atlantis are priced by width and length with a Forest stock fabric; Atlantis runs to 144 by 144 inches with a 6 Nm motor.

Does Exotic Shades make its own roller shades?
Yes. Most roller shades we install are made to order with Mermet or Phifer fabrics on Lutron, Somfy or Crestron motors; see roller shades.
