What are Forest motorized curtain tracks and rods?
Forest's motorized range covers 14 US collections: three motorized tracks, seven motorized decorative rods, the EasyTouch remote and wall switch, and two Dresden reference pages. The tracks and rods run on Forest Shuttle motors. 2026 retail prices start at $2,588.19 for an assembled FMS motorized track up to 4 ft long (Shuttle Eco, white). Assembled prices include the motor, power supply and a remote or wall switch.
Every price on these pages is Forest's 2026 retail price in US dollars, hardware only. Exotic Shades supplies and installs Forest hardware from Miami to Palm Beach, with the drapery sewn in our own Fort Lauderdale workroom.
Which Forest motor and track?
Shuttle HD
Up to 160 lb per motor (120 lb on a curved track), 24 V plug-in power; the motor for long and heavy drapery.
Shuttle Eco
Up to 100 lb per motor (90 lb curved), 24 V plug-in power, at a lower price than the HD.
Shuttle iOn
A battery motor for up to 55 lb (40 lb curved), 3 to 4 months between charges, for windows with no power at the head.
Motor ready
Dresden, Frankfurt and Stuttgart Motor 2.0 and FMS are also sold ready for a non-Forest motor, such as Somfy or Lutron, so the drapery answers to the home's existing system.

A 6 ft Forest FMS motorized track (Shuttle HD, white) costs $2,932.63; a 12 ft one costs $3,198.97. Those are Forest's 2026 retail prices for the hardware only; each collection page has the full size table.
How are Forest motorized tracks controlled?
By the EasyTouch remote or wall switch included in the set, by a gentle tug on the drapery, by app and voice through the Bond Bridge Pro or Forest Wi-Fi dongle, and by home automation over RS485 or dry contacts.
Can a Forest motorized rod use a Lutron or Somfy motor?
The Dresden, Frankfurt and Stuttgart Motor 2.0 rods and the FMS track are sold motor-ready for non-Forest motors; Forest lists Somfy, Lutron and Rollease for the Motor 2.0 rods.
Does a battery motor need an outlet?
No. The Shuttle iOn runs on a rechargeable lithium battery, 3 to 4 months between charges according to Forest, so it suits finished rooms with no power at the window head.
