What is the Forest FMS Motorized Track System?
The Forest FMS Motorized Track System is a 3/4 inch aluminum track driven by a Forest Shuttle motor, rated for 6 lb of drapery per foot, with an EasyTouch remote or wall switch in the box. It is the motorized track for long runs and heavy drapery. A 6 ft Forest FMS motorized track (Shuttle HD, white) costs $2,932.63; a 12 ft one costs $3,198.97. FMS pairs with any Forest Shuttle. The Shuttle HD moves up to 160 lb of drapery per motor (120 lb on a curved track), the Eco up to 100 lb and the battery iOn up to 55 lb. The motor mounts on either end, the track draws one way or from the center, and it can be bent or curved from an actual-size template. Control runs from the remote, a wall switch, a gentle tug on the drapery, an app through the Bond Bridge Pro, or a home automation system over RS485 or dry contacts. Forest also sells FMS motor-ready for a non-Forest motor.
