Forest is a drapery hardware maker headquartered in the Netherlands; its US company, Forest Drapery Hardware, supplies the American market from a warehouse in Cartersville, Georgia. Its US range has 57 collections in five groups: curtain tracks, motorized tracks and rods, decorative metal rods, decorative wood rods, and roman and roller shade systems.

Track, rod, motor or shade system: how to choose
A track, when the drapery is heavy or the wall is long
Aluminum tracks such as CS carry 6 lb of fabric per foot, bend around corners, join into long runs and disappear against a white ceiling. They suit ripplefold and pinch pleat drapery on condo window walls. Forest curtain tracks.
A traversing rod, when the hardware should be seen
Dresden, Frankfurt, Stuttgart and the other decorative rails run the drapery on hidden carriers but look like a rod, in brass, chrome, bronze and matte finishes, typically rated at 4 lb per foot. Metal rods and wood rods.
A pole set, when the drapery hangs from rings
Porto, Lisbon, Aveiro and the wood Cordoba and London poles are sold by the part: pole by the foot, brackets, rings and finials. They are drawn by hand and suit lighter panels and formal rooms.

How are Forest drapery hardware prices worked out?
Most Forest tracks and traversing rods are sold as assembled sets: one price for the first 4 feet and a price for each additional foot, per colour or per motor. Pole sets and components are sold by the part: pole by the foot, brackets, rings, finials and carriers each. Roman headrails add a price per inch of width, and Forest's own roller shades are priced by width and length in a grid that includes a stock fabric.
Each collection page shows the size table or the parts table with every price we could confirm against the 2026 catalog. The drapery, the sewing and the installation are quoted separately, at the measure.
Forest prices an assembled system as one amount for the first 4 feet plus a fixed amount for each additional foot; the catalog prints no price for part of a foot, so a length between two whole feet is priced at the next whole foot, and anything up to 4 feet costs the 4-foot price.

Among hand-drawn tracks, the RTS recessed track carries 8 lb per foot and CS carries 6 lb per foot. Among motorized systems, the RMS recessed track carries 8 lb per foot, and a Shuttle HD motor moves up to 160 lb.
Can Forest tracks be bent around a bay window?
Yes. CS, CCS, KS and DS tracks and the Dresden and Deventer rods can be bent or curved by Forest from an exact template of the wall; KS takes the tightest curve, a 4 inch radius.
