What is the Forest CS Recess Contract System?
The Forest CS Recess Contract System is the CS track in a 7/8 inch profile made to be set into the ceiling, so the drapery hangs from a slot with no brackets in view. It carries 6 lb per foot, is drawn by hand or baton, and can be bent to an 8 inch radius. A 6 ft Forest CS Recess track (white) costs $244.81; a 12 ft one costs $411.13.
The recess version keeps what makes CS useful, the load rating, the carriers and masters, the bending, and changes the mounting: the track is screwed into a ceiling pocket through holes drilled every 10 inches, finished with a short end cap. It is white, and Forest bends it from an exact template when the ceiling line turns a corner.
