The Forest Dresden Corded Traversing rod is the 1 1/8 inch Dresden rail drawn by a cord, designed for sheer fabric only at up to 3 lb per foot. Assembled sets include a child safety tension device. It uses the same rail, brass fittings and nine finishes as Dresden Traversing, with a cord pulley in a finished housing at one end. Forest's brochure and catalog limit it to sheers at 3 lb per foot, so it is the lighter of the two. It draws one way or from the center, on the wall or the ceiling.
