What is the Somfy Glydea ULTRA?
The Somfy Glydea ULTRA is a drapery track motor for residential and commercial curtains, sold as the Glydea ULTRA 35 and 60 in dry contact (DCT), RTS and wired versions, and as the battery Glydea ULTRA 50 WireFree Zigbee. In 2026 the Somfy Glydea ULTRA range runs from $372.15 (Glydea ULTRA 35 Wired Motor (No plug)) to $625.24 (Glydea ULTRA 50 WireFree Zigbee), retail, product only.
Somfy lists the Glydea ULTRA 35 RTS at 38 dB and accepts a 90 to 240V supply. The 35 and 60 differ in pulling capacity for heavier curtains; the 50 WireFree runs on a replaceable USB-C lithium-ion battery. Plug-in modules add two-way Zigbee or RS485 SDN control, so the same motor joins a TaHoma system or a Somfy Digital Network. The older Glydea ULTRA models listed at the bottom are discontinued.
