What is the Somfy Roll Up?
The Somfy Roll Up range is a family of compact motors for interior roller shades: WireFree RTS battery motors in 24 and 28 sizes, wired Roll Up R28 motors in three mounting styles, and the Roll Up 30 Short in PoE and RS485 versions. Somfy describes the Roll Up 28 WireFree V2 as suited to mid to large windows, with an embedded lithium-ion battery, a removable charging cable and a solar charging option. The wired R28 comes with ear, pin or star-hole mounting to fit different brackets. All the RTS versions work with Somfy's RTS remotes, wall switches and TaHoma.
