Alendel lists Ava as a velvet in 3 colourways, in 64% polyester and 36% viscose, at 58 in wide. The colours run Bone, Thistle and Seal, across the beige and grey families. All 3 flagged in stock by Alendel. It sits in Alendel's C.I. Luxe Book.
The 58 in width runs up the roll, so panels are made of joined widths with the seams hidden in the pleats, and a Roman shade under about 50 inches finished is cut from a single width. The repeat is vertical 11.02 in, horizontal 28.94 in, matched across seams and from window to window, so the yardage is figured on the repeat rather than the finished size. The viscose is what gives it the lustre; it is lined for the sun and kept out of wet rooms. It weighs 1.70 lb per yard by Alendel's listing, and a cloth of that weight is hung on a track or rod sized for it. Care is WA-P (washable or dry clean); Alendel's own line reads: washable, dry clean. It carries CAL 117, NFPA 260 and UFAC Class 1, the upholstery flammability listings; and FMVSS 302, the automotive interior test. Every colourway is listed as Oeko-Tex. What Ava does at the window, and what it does not
Best use
Ava is a velvet, so it is a drapery for a room that wants weight and quiet: formal living rooms, a dining room, a study, a bedroom with the pile on the room side. It also makes a Roman shade, flat fold, lined, on a headrail sized for the weight.
Light and privacy
An opaque cloth, so privacy is complete when it is closed. The light is decided by the lining: light-filtering keeps a living room glowing, thermal or bump interlining adds body and quiet, blackout turns a bedroom dark. Ava is lined in every case; on west glass we line generously so the face does not fade.
Cloth and care
64% polyester and 36% viscose; 1.70 lb per yard; care WA-P (washable or dry clean); 15,000 rubs abrasion. Viscose gives the lustre and is kept out of wet rooms. Listed as Oeko-Tex.
Limitations
At 58 in a wide panel is made of joined widths; the seams sit inside the pleats, and the repeat is matched at every seam, which costs yardage. The weight needs a track or rod sized for it; a light decorative rod will bow.

For a residence that is not an issue; for a commercial or condo common-area job that asks for NFPA 701 we would pick a listed cloth or arrange a treated lining and a certificate for the project.
