Comet is a drapery cloth from Alendel, listed in 26 colourways, in 61% recycled polyester and 39% polyester, at 120 in wide, railroaded. The card is Abyss, Bog, Anise, Frog, Biscuit, Dolphin, Coffee, Parchment plus 18 more; Alendel files them under grey, green, black, beige, brown and white. All 26 flagged in stock by Alendel. It sits in Alendel's Starburst Book.
The width is the reason to look at it: railroaded, the 120 in becomes the drop, so a wall of glass up to about 10 ft high runs seamless from end to end, which is how we sew a drapery across a window wall without a seam. Polyester holds its pleat and its size in humid air and after cleaning, and stands up to Florida sun better than cotton or linen does. Alendel lists the weight at 1.30 lb per yard, substantial for a drapery cloth, so the track or rod is sized to carry it. Care is WA-P (washable or dry clean). It passes NFPA 701 and CAN/ULC S109, the drapery flame tests asked for on commercial and condo common-area work in the US and Canada; it also carries CAL 117, an upholstery flammability listing; and FMVSS 302, the automotive interior test. Every colourway is listed as Oeko-Tex. Country of origin, as Alendel lists it: India.
What Comet does at the window, and what it does not
Best use
Comet is a drapery cloth at 120 in, railroaded, so it is for panels rather than Roman shades: ripplefold or pinch pleat on a track, floor to ceiling across a wall of glass with no seam.
Light and privacy
An opaque cloth, so privacy is complete when it is closed. The light is decided by the lining: light-filtering keeps a living room glowing, thermal or bump interlining adds body and quiet, blackout turns a bedroom dark. Comet is lined in every case; on west glass we line generously so the face does not fade.
Cloth and care
61% recycled polyester and 39% polyester; 1.30 lb per yard; care WA-P (washable or dry clean); 100,000 rubs abrasion. Polyester keeps its size and its pleat in humid air and after cleaning, and holds its colour in the sun better than a natural fibre. Listed as Oeko-Tex.
Limitations
Railroaded wide-width goods are not cut into Roman shades; for a matching Roman we pick a 54 inch cloth from the same book. The weight needs a track or rod sized for it; a light decorative rod will bow.

Yes. At 120 in it is railroaded: the cloth is turned sideways, the width becomes the drop, and a window wall up to about 10 ft high carries no seam. Taller than that it is seamed, or run up the roll with a seam at each width.
Does Comet pass NFPA 701?
Yes by Alendel's listing: Comet passes NFPA 701, CAN/ULC S109, CAL 117 and FMVSS 302. NFPA 701 is the flame test a condo association, a hotel or an office asks for on drapery; where a project needs the certificate we request it from Alendel before the cloth is ordered.
