At 55 to 56.25 in it is cut up the roll like a conventional drapery cloth: a panel joins widths at the seam, which sits inside a pleat, and a Roman shade takes one width up to roughly 50 inches finished before it needs a joined width. The viscose is what gives it the lustre; it is lined for the sun and kept out of wet rooms. It weighs 0.75 lb per yard by Alendel's listing, which is on the light side.
