Lutron Anderson Fabric
11 colourways, openness 3%, 5%, solar screen, up to 116 inches wide. Every swatch and every specification, from a certified Lutron dealer in Fort Lauderdale and Miami Beach.
A vinyl-and-polyester screen in six two-tone colours at 3% and 5%
Anderson is a 78% PVC, 22% polyester solar screen, the same base construction as Lutron's Blackout Screen, in six colourways (Bright White, White/White Pearl, White/Linen, Ash/Tan Stone, Sable/Shale, Midnight/Magnetic Stone) at 3% and 5% openness, 116 inches wide, seamable, not railroadable. It is listed to NFPA 701, certified GREENGUARD, Oeko-Tex, lead free and RoHS, and rated by Lutron for moist conditions.
Lutron publishes no light-transmission figures for Anderson, so the design pages of E Screen or Basketweave are the reference when the numbers matter. Where it earns its place is the colour card: Ash/Tan Stone and Sable/Shale are warm two-tone weaves that the fiberglass screens do not offer.

Where Anderson works here
A screen rated for moist conditions at 116 inches wide is useful on lanai doors and pool-side sliders in Boca Raton and Weston, and the Sable/Shale and Midnight colourways suit the darker, bronze-glass interiors of newer towers. We would still put E Screen on the hottest wall and use Anderson where its colour fits.
Anderson: frequently asked
Is Anderson a fiberglass screen?
No. It is a PVC-coated polyester weave, which makes it a little softer and more flexible than the fiberglass screens and suited to humid rooms. For the tightest dimensional stability on very wide or tall glass, E Screen or Basketweave 90 remain our first choice.
How wide can a Lutron Anderson shade be?
Lutron publishes a maximum usable fabric width of 116 inches for Anderson. It can be seamed for wider openings, or two shades share one headrail and move together. We confirm the exact limit for the chosen system when we measure.
Which Lutron shades use Anderson?
Anderson is made up on Lutron roller shades. As a certified Lutron dealer in Fort Lauderdale and Miami Beach we order it for any Lutron system it is offered on and install it with our own team.
