A 126-inch blackout with a white or colour-matched back
Zora Twilight is one of the two widest fabrics Mermet makes, 126 inches on the roll, which is what decides most blackout specifications: a wide slider is one shade instead of two, with no seam to show as a line of light. It is 100% polyester with an acrylic coating and a white backing, 11.0 oz per square yard, Tv 0 with about 100% UV blockage, listed to ASTM E84 (Class B) and California Technical Bulletin 117, with GREENGUARD Gold and RoHS lead free. The card runs twelve colourways in two groups. Nine put a coloured face over a white back, from White, Chalk, Frost, Canvas and Linen through Khaki, Pewter and Graphite to Black, and reflect 69% to 74% of the solar energy that reaches them, which keeps a closed bedroom cooler and gives the building a uniform pale facade. Three are colour-matched front and back, Pewter, Graphite and Black, and reflect 6% to 17% instead, for a media room or a bedroom where the shade should read dark from both sides.

Tv = visible light transmitted, Ts = solar energy transmitted, Rs = solar energy reflected, As = solar energy absorbed, Rv = visible light reflected, in percent, as published by Mermet USA for the fabric on its own. SHGC int. and SHGC ext. = solar heat gain coefficient of the fabric mounted inside or outside residential double glazing, from the same spec sheets; UPF = Mermet's ultraviolet protection rating where it publishes one. Where Zora Twilight works here
Zora is the blackout we quote for wide bedroom glass in Fort Lauderdale, Hallandale and Sunny Isles condos, where a 126-inch roll turns a ten-foot slider into a single seamless shade. The white-backed colours are the default because the association usually cares what the tower looks like from the beach; the colour-matched Black is for a media room. Side channels or a generous outside mount finish the job, and we detail that at measurement.
Zora Twilight gives the widest neutral blackout card at 126 inches with a white or colour-matched back; Sparta Twilight matches the width and adds the NFPA 701 listing.

White back for a bedroom on a facade, because it reflects 69% to 74% of the solar energy that reaches it and keeps the building looking uniform. Colour-matched, in Pewter, Graphite or Black, for a media room or a room where the shade is meant to disappear from both sides, at the cost of a much warmer fabric on the glass.
Is Zora Twilight fire rated for commercial work?
It carries ASTM E84 (Class B) and California Technical Bulletin 117. Where a specification calls for NFPA 701, Sparta Twilight is the Mermet blackout to use: same 126-inch width, with NFPA 701 TM#1, California Title 19 and CAN/ULC-S109.
How wide can a Mermet Zora Twilight shade be?
Mermet publishes standard roll widths of 126" (320 cm) for Zora Twilight, so a single shade can run to about 126 inches wide before a seam or a second shade is needed. A seam in a blackout shows as a line of light, so wider openings get two shades on one headrail programmed to move together. We confirm the exact limit for the chosen system when we measure.

Zora Twilight is a roller shade fabric. We source it directly from Mermet, so the same weave goes on Lutron, Somfy, Crestron or Vertilux motors or a manual chain, cut and finished in our Fort Lauderdale workroom and installed by our own team from Miami to Palm Beach.
