What is the Somfy Sonesse 40?
The Somfy Sonesse 40 is a quiet mid-size tube motor for interior shades, made in more control versions than any other Somfy motor: 120V RTS, wired (WT), RS485, Zigbee, Power over Ethernet and two battery WireFree versions. Somfy lists the 406A2 RTS at 44 dB and the PoE version at 39 dB. The PoE motors run on a single network cable that carries both power and control, and include the Somfy Synergy API for direct integration with third-party control systems. The 120V versions come with or without a fast connector for the power cable, and head covers are sold in white, grey and black. Mounting plates adapt the motor to other brands' shade brackets.
