Nine colours across a blackout and an uncoated light-filtering twin
SheerWeave 7300 is a blackout woven at 44.5% polyester and 55.5% acrylic, 13.6 oz per square yard and 0.026 inches thick, publishing Tv 0 with solar reflectance from 65% in Icicle to 70% in Raven. Its twin, Style 7350, is the only light-filtering fabric in the 7000 series with no coating at all: plain 100% polyester at 7.1 oz and 0.025 inches, with a published acoustic value of NRC 0.50. Both are 118 inches wide, neither is recommended for railroading, and both are listed to NFPA 701 TM#1, with BFD IX-1 on the blackout as well.
Nine colours run across the pair with identical Phifer codes: Icicle, Ivory, Natural, Cement, Dove, Storm, Taupe, Gunmetal and Raven. That is the widest matched card among the R pairs, and it steps evenly from a near-white through the warm and cool neutrals to a near-black, which makes it the easiest of the five pairs to match to an existing scheme. Certifications are GREENGUARD Gold, RoHS, REACH and the ANSI/WCMA A100.1 lead-content standard; there is no Microban additive on either style.

Tv = visible light transmitted, Ts = solar energy transmitted, Rs = solar energy reflected, As = solar energy absorbed, in percent, as published by Phifer for the fabric on its own. SHGC single = solar heat gain coefficient of the fabric behind single 1/4 in clear glass (1/8 in where that is what Phifer publishes), SHGC insul. = behind 1 in insulating glass with a high-performance coating (1/2 in clear where published). Exterior SunTex and SunScreen figures are for the fabric installed outside the glass at a 30 degree profile angle. We bring the sample books to the consultation.
Where SheerWeave 7300/7350 works here
We reach for this pair when a house needs the same fabric family across several rooms with different jobs: light-filtering on the street side and in the baths, blackout in the bedrooms, one colour throughout. The nine-colour card gives enough range to match a paint scheme without leaving the family, and at 118 inches most South Florida bedroom windows and many sliders come out as a single shade.
SheerWeave 7300/7350: frequently asked
Why is 7350 uncoated?
Phifer publishes its composition as plain 100% polyester, where the other light-filtering twins carry an acrylic coating. It is the softest hand of the five and publishes NRC 0.50, and it is listed to NFPA 701 TM#1, which is a better fire position than most of the R pairs hold.
Can I mix the two in one room?
That is what the shared colour codes are for. Put 7350 in front and 7300 behind on a dual roller, both in Cement or Dove, and the room reads as one fabric with two settings.
How wide can a Phifer SheerWeave 7300/7350 shade be?
Phifer publishes standard roll widths of 118" (300 cm) for SheerWeave 7300/7350, so a single shade can run to about 118 inches wide before a seam or a second shade is needed. Wider openings are covered with two shades on one headrail programmed to move together, or with a seam placed where the mullion hides it. We confirm the exact limit for the chosen system when we measure.
Which shades can be made in SheerWeave 7300/7350?
SheerWeave 7300/7350 is made up as roller shades and panel tracks. We source it directly from Phifer, so the same weave goes on Lutron, Somfy, Crestron or Vertilux motors or a manual chain, cut and finished in our Fort Lauderdale workroom and installed by our own team from Miami to Palm Beach.
Is SheerWeave 7300/7350 PVC-free?
Phifer's published composition for SheerWeave 7300/7350 is 44.5% Polyester / 55.5% Acrylic; 100% Polyester: no vinyl and no PVC in the yarn or the coating, with GREENGUARD Gold, RoHS, REACH, ANSI/WCMA A100.1 lead content listed.
Can I see SheerWeave 7300/7350 samples before ordering?
Yes. We keep the Phifer sample books in the Fort Lauderdale workroom (4539 Powerline Rd, by appointment) and the Miami Beach showroom (500 South Pointe Dr #150), and we bring the colours you shortlist to the in-home consultation so you can hold them against your glass in your own light.
