Habacoa is an outdoor stripe from Holland & Sherry, in their Higgins Giles & Co outdoor range (100% polyolefin FR, 55 in wide, made in Italy). It comes in 6 colourways, Blue Coral, Coconut Shell, Deep Ocean, Moody Lagoon, Sea Foam and Sea Salt. Their spec sheet gives its end use as "Upholstery, drapery, multi-use".
At 55 in wide, panels are made of joined widths and the seams fall inside the pleats. Holland & Sherry's sheet gives the fabric direction as railroaded. The repeat is 11.23 in down, matched at every seam and across the windows of a room, so the yardage is worked out on the repeat rather than the finished size.
It is an outdoor performance weave, so it is the cloth for the places an indoor drapery would not last: a loggia, a cabana, a covered terrace by the pool. It weighs 23 oz per linear yard (720 g per linear metre) by Holland & Sherry's figures.

What Habacoa does at the window, and what it does not
Best use
Habacoa is an outdoor performance cloth that Holland & Sherry list for drapery as well as upholstery, so it is the drapery for an outdoor room: a loggia, a cabana, a covered terrace, pinch pleat or ripplefold on a track rated for outdoors.
Light and privacy
Closed, Habacoa gives full privacy; how much light comes through is decided by the lining we sew behind it: light-filtering for living rooms, interlining for body and quiet, blackout for bedrooms (the lining guide).
Cloth and care
100% polyolefin FR; 23 oz per linear yard (720 g per linear metre); Martindale 25,000 rubs; Wyzenbeek 50,000 double rubs. Care, by Holland & Sherry's sheet: do not dry clean; washed as their care instructions describe.
Limitations
At 55 in a wide panel is made of joined widths, and the repeat is matched at every seam, which costs yardage. No NFPA 701 result in Holland & Sherry's data, so a condo common area or a commercial job that asks for it needs the cloth flame treated with a certificate, if Holland & Sherry can supply it that way, or another cloth.

We measure and give the yardage
We measure the windows, settle the style, the fullness and the lining, and work out the yardage on the width and the repeat, so the order to Holland & Sherry is right the first time.
We make and install
The cloth comes to our Fort Lauderdale workroom, where our five in-house seamstresses cut and sew the draperies, and our own installers hang them on the rod, track or motorized system the window calls for.

Holland & Sherry's data gives no NFPA 701 result for it, only upholstery tests (BS 5852 Cigarette & Match; Cal 117-2013).
