What Lana does at the window, and what it does not
Best use
Lana is a sheer: daylight and the view by day, ripplefold or pinch pleat on a ceiling track, with a lined or blackout panel on a second track behind it in a bedroom. Holland & Sherry list no width for it on their product page, so the roll width is confirmed before deciding whether it runs seamless.
Light and privacy
By day it softens the light and frames the view; after dark, with the room lit, the room shows from outside, so sheers are layered with a lined or blackout panel where privacy matters.
Cloth and care
80% linen, 20% wool.
Limitations
No privacy at night with the lights on, and no blackout; it is layered where either is needed. Natural fibres fade in hard sun, so on unshaded south or west glass a solar roller behind it takes the sun first. No NFPA 701 result in Holland & Sherry's data, so a condo common area or a commercial job that asks for it needs the cloth flame treated with a certificate, if Holland & Sherry can supply it that way, or another cloth. Holland & Sherry list no width on the product page, so the width is confirmed before the yardage is.

We measure the windows, settle the style, the fullness and the lining, and work out the yardage on the width and the repeat, so the order to Holland & Sherry is right the first time.
We make and install
The cloth comes to our Fort Lauderdale workroom, where our five in-house seamstresses cut and sew the sheers, and our own installers hang them on the rod, track or motorized system the window calls for.
