A mélange wool flannel at 59 in, in 72 colourways
Patagonia is a mélange wool flannel from Holland & Sherry, in their Tierra Fina collection (100% wool, 59 in wide, made in Chile). The range runs to 72 colourways: Oat, Fawn, Harvest, Dune, Sandstone, Flax, Acorn, Peat plus 64 more. Their spec sheet gives its end use as "Drapery, upholstery, accessories, soft goods and wall upholstery".
The 59 in width runs up the roll, so panels are made of joined widths and the seams fall inside the pleats.
Wool is naturally flame resistant but not sun resistant: it fades and weakens in direct sun, so it is lined, and on unshaded south or west glass it wants a solar shade in front of it. It can stretch a little over time in humid air, and like silk it is a protein fibre that wants an air-conditioned room rather than a house closed up for the summer (what each fibre does). It weighs 13 oz per linear yard (415 g per linear metre) by Holland & Sherry's figures.
Holland & Sherry's sheet says it can be treated to pass NFPA 701, the flame test a condo association, hotel or office asks for on drapery. Their drapery note advises hanging the drapery before it is hemmed, so the cloth settles to the room, and lining every drapery, to block the light and protect the face.

What Patagonia does at the window, and what it does not
Best use
We would make Patagonia up as tailored panels, pinch pleat or ripplefold, lined, for a bedroom, a study or a living room that wants the warmth of a suiting cloth.
Light and privacy
An opaque cloth, so privacy is complete when it is closed. The lining sets the light: a light-filtering sateen keeps a room glowing, an interlining adds body and quiet, a blackout lining turns a bedroom dark (lining guide).
Cloth and care
100% wool; 13 oz per linear yard (415 g per linear metre); Martindale 20,000 rubs. Care, by Holland & Sherry's sheet: professional dry clean only, cleaning code S. Holland & Sherry list it as PFAS free.
Limitations
Not for unshaded south or west glass on its own: the sun fades natural fibres, so a shade goes in front of it there. At 59 in a wide panel is made of joined widths; the seams sit inside the pleats.

Holland & Sherry sell to the trade, so the cloth is chosen and ordered by your designer, with the colour code and the sample in hand. Not working with a designer? Tell us; we can suggest a cloth we order ourselves.
We measure and give the yardage
We measure the windows, settle the style, the fullness and the lining, and work out the yardage on the width and the repeat, so the order to Holland & Sherry is right the first time.
We make and install
The cloth comes to our Fort Lauderdale workroom, where our five in-house seamstresses cut and sew the draperies, and our own installers hang them on the rod, track or motorized system the window calls for.
Where Patagonia works here
We have made Holland & Sherry wool up before: at the Ritz-Carlton Residences Miami Beach the designer's schedule called for two Holland & Sherry wool jacquards, made up as blackout drapery on Lutron Sivoia QS tracks, the reversible flannel hung with its lighter face outward as specified. Patagonia would be made the same way: lined, for an air-conditioned room, with a shade in front of it on bright glass.
