Gretta (Fall 2026) is one of the Holland & Sherry cloths we make up as draperies: a linen dobby in their Linen Weaves collection (100% linen, 55 in wide, made in Chile). It comes in 6 colourways, Dove White, Timber Tan, Yew Green, Laurel Green, Stream and Elderberry Blue. Their spec sheet gives its end use as "Upholstery, drapery, wall upholstery, soft goods, and accessories". It is new in their Fall 2026 collection.
The 55 in width runs up the roll, so panels are made of joined widths and the seams fall inside the pleats. Holland & Sherry's sheet gives the direction as up the roll. Holland & Sherry give the repeat as 0.59 in across, 0.66 in down; we match it across every seam and from window to window, which adds yardage and is figured into the order.
Linen reads matte and relaxed, and it moves with the humidity; like every natural fibre it wants a lining that takes the sun instead of the face cloth. At 26 oz per linear yard (810 g per linear metre) it is a heavy cloth, so the track or rod is sized for the weight.
Their drapery note advises hanging the drapery before it is hemmed, so the cloth settles to the room, and lining every drapery, to block the light and protect the face.

Gretta (Fall 2026) is a heavy cloth, the kind that makes a drapery read as tailored: a study, a library, a dining room or a bedroom, pinch pleat or ripplefold on a track or rod sized for the weight, lined, often blackout-lined.
Light and privacy
Closed, Gretta (Fall 2026) gives full privacy; how much light comes through is decided by the lining we sew behind it: light-filtering for living rooms, interlining for body and quiet, blackout for bedrooms (the lining guide).

Limitations
At 55 in a wide panel is made of joined widths, and the repeat is matched at every seam, which costs yardage. The weight needs a track or rod sized for it; a light decorative rod will bow. No NFPA 701 result in Holland & Sherry's data, so a condo common area or a commercial job that asks for it needs the cloth flame treated with a certificate, if Holland & Sherry can supply it that way, or another cloth.
