Holland & Sherry Lilo
Sheer linen plaid, 3 colourways, 96% linen, 4% polyester, 131 in wide. Holland & Sherry's own figures, and how we make it up as sheers in our Fort Lauderdale workroom, from the cloth your designer orders.
A wide-width sheer linen plaid at 131 in, in 3 colourways
Holland & Sherry make Lilo as a sheer linen plaid (96% linen, 4% polyester, 131 in wide, made in Italy). The range runs to 3 colourways: Frost, Champagne and Grey Tint. Their spec sheet gives its end use as "Drapery and window treatments".
Holland & Sherry's sheet says it can be used up the roll, as woven, or turned 90 degrees and railroaded; turned 90 degrees, the 131 inch width becomes the drop, so a panel nearly that tall, less the heading and the hem, needs no seam. The repeat is 41.5 in across, 42.72 in down, matched at every seam and across the windows of a room, so the yardage is worked out on the repeat rather than the finished size.
Linen reads matte and relaxed and moves with the humidity, which is part of the look; on hard west sun a solar roller behind it takes the UV first. It weighs 280 g per linear metre (about 9 oz per linear yard) by Holland & Sherry's figures.
Their drapery note advises hanging the drapery before it is hemmed, so the cloth settles to the room.

What Lilo does at the window, and what it does not
Best use
Sheers are our most requested drapery, and Lilo is made for the long run: floor to ceiling across sliders and window walls on a ceiling-mounted track, ripplefold or pinch pleat, with the fullness set for the cloth.
Light and privacy
By day it softens the light and frames the view; after dark, with the room lit, the room shows from outside, so sheers are layered with a lined or blackout panel where privacy matters.
Cloth and care
96% linen, 4% polyester; 280 g per linear metre (about 9 oz per linear yard).
Limitations
No privacy at night with the lights on, and no blackout; it is layered where either is needed. Natural fibres fade in hard sun, so on unshaded south or west glass a solar roller behind it takes the sun first. No NFPA 701 result in Holland & Sherry's data, so a condo common area or a commercial job that asks for it needs the cloth flame treated with a certificate, if Holland & Sherry can supply it that way, or another cloth.

What Holland & Sherry say about Lilo
End use, in their words
"Drapery and window treatments", from Holland & Sherry's spec sheet.
Their drapery note
The cloth is made from natural fibres; drapery should hang before it is hemmed, so it can adjust to the climate of the room.
Fabric direction
Holland & Sherry's sheet says it can be used up the roll, as woven, or turned 90 degrees and railroaded; turned 90 degrees, the 131 inch width becomes the drop, so a panel nearly that tall, less the heading and the hem, needs no seam.
Flame tests
NFPA 701, the drapery flame test: not listed.
Care and handling
Wide-width goods are shipped folded, and Holland & Sherry advise ironing out the creases.

How Lilo becomes sheers in your home
Your designer specifies
Holland & Sherry sell to the trade, so the cloth is chosen and ordered by your designer, with the colour code and the sample in hand. Not working with a designer? Tell us; we can suggest a cloth we order ourselves.
We measure and give the yardage
We measure the windows, settle the style, the fullness and the lining, and work out the yardage on the width and the repeat, so the order to Holland & Sherry is right the first time.
We make and install
The cloth comes to our Fort Lauderdale workroom, where our five in-house seamstresses cut and sew the sheers, and our own installers hang them on the rod, track or motorized system the window calls for.
Where Lilo works here
On the ocean side of a Sunny Isles or Fort Lauderdale living room, Lilo would hang floor to ceiling on a ceiling-mounted track, hand-drawn or motorized on Lutron or Somfy, with a solar roller behind it for the glare and, in a bedroom, a blackout panel on a second track. It is cut and sewn in our Fort Lauderdale workroom and installed by our own team from Miami to Palm Beach.
For the same use, compare Lilo with Top Stitch (sheer stitch plaid, 124 in, 2 colourways), Stripe Sheer (Kalos Collection) (linen sheer, 118 in, 7 colourways) and Silk Linen Sheer (silk sheer, 124 in, 2 colourways).

Lilo: frequently asked
How many colours does Holland & Sherry Lilo come in?
3 colourways on Holland & Sherry's site when we read it on October 7, 2026: Frost, Champagne and Grey Tint. Every one is listed on this page with its code; Holland & Sherry's photographs of each are on their own site, linked from the table.
Can I buy Lilo from you?
No. Holland & Sherry sell to the trade, so your designer orders the cloth from them. We make it up and install it: we measure and work out the yardage, the cloth is sent to our Fort Lauderdale workroom, and our seamstresses cut and sew the sheers.
Do you match the Lilo repeat?
Always. Holland & Sherry give the repeat as 41.5 in across, 42.72 in down; we match it at every seam and from window to window, so the yardage your designer orders is worked out on the repeat.
Can Lilo run without seams?
At 131 in it is a wide-width cloth: turned 90 degrees, the 131 inch width becomes the drop, so a panel nearly that tall, less the heading and the hem, needs no seam. Taller than that, it is seamed.
What does Lilo cost made up as sheers?
The cloth is bought through your designer at Holland & Sherry's price, so our quote covers what we make and install: the fabrication, the track or rod and the installation, worked out from the measure. Ask for a workroom price with the button above and we come back with a figure, not a range.
