Silk Linen Sheer is one of the Holland & Sherry cloths we make up as sheers: a silk sheer in their Kalos Collection (57% silk, 37% linen, 6% polyester, 124 in wide, made in Italy). It comes in 2 colourways, Cream and Olive. They file it with their sheers.
The 124 in width is the reason to look at it for tall glass: turned 90 degrees, the 124 inch width becomes the drop, so a panel nearly that tall, less the heading and the hem, needs no seam.
Silk is the fibre the sun damages most, so a silk sheer hangs where a shade or the architecture keeps the direct sun off it.

What Silk Linen Sheer does at the window, and what it does not
Best use
Sheers are our most requested drapery, and Silk Linen Sheer is made for the long run: floor to ceiling across sliders and window walls on a ceiling-mounted track, ripplefold or pinch pleat, with the fullness set for the cloth.
Light and privacy
A sheer filters hard sunlight into an even glow and keeps the view. It gives no privacy at night with the lights on, so a bedroom takes a lined or blackout panel on a second track behind it.

57% silk, 37% linen, 6% polyester.
Limitations
No privacy at night with the lights on, and no blackout; it is layered where either is needed. Natural fibres fade in hard sun, so on unshaded south or west glass a solar roller behind it takes the sun first. No NFPA 701 result in Holland & Sherry's data, so a condo common area or a commercial job that asks for it needs the cloth flame treated with a certificate, if Holland & Sherry can supply it that way, or another cloth.

We make and install
The cloth comes to our Fort Lauderdale workroom, where our five in-house seamstresses cut and sew the sheers, and our own installers hang them on the rod, track or motorized system the window calls for.
