The light-filtering honeycomb for bathrooms and listed spaces, with a woven look
Mogri Translucent is a light-filtering polyester honeycomb from TOP Window Covering with a surface that looks woven, 0.25 mm thick and 152 g/m2, heat-set, in 25 mm and 32 mm cells with 38 mm and 45 mm on request. Eight colours: Sand, Taupe, Tea, Brown, Light Gray, Steel, Dark Gray and Blue. On the window it reads as a textile rather than a plain non-woven, and it is the one honeycomb in TOP's range we would specify for a wet room or a space a fire marshal reviews.
The datasheet is the reason. TOP lists Mogri Translucent to NFPA 701, California Title 19, DIN 4102 B1 and BS 5867 Part 2, rates it suitable for humid rooms and for workstations, and records fungal resistance and a damp-cloth clean. No other TOP honeycomb fabric has a fire listing or a humid-room rating on its datasheet. The trade-offs are real: TOP publishes no light figures for it, so colours are chosen by sample, and its datasheet answers no to PVC-free, where most of the range is listed free of it.
What Mogri Translucent does on your glass, and what it does not
Best use
Bathrooms, pool baths, laundry rooms and kitchens with a window by the sink, and offices, clubhouses and condo common areas where a fire listing is asked for. Sand, Taupe and Light Gray keep a small room bright; Steel, Dark Gray and Brown suit a room with a screen. Take 25 mm on small windows, 32 mm or larger on tall ones. In a wet room, this is the honeycomb.
Privacy
By day it hides the room. At night a lit bathroom glows through it and a person close to the shade shows as a shadow, which matters on a window over a path or a pool deck. Darker colours show less, though TOP publishes no figures to rank them. A wet room that must be private after dark needs a roller in a humid-rated blackout such as Orient Blackout White Backing.
Glare control
TOP rates it for workstations, and as a light-filtering cloth with no openness it turns direct sun into an even glow rather than a beam. With no figures published, Steel, Dark Gray and Brown are the safer picks for a monitor or a television wall. A low sun square on the window still lights the whole shade.
Limitations
It will not darken a room, and the blackout twin that would gives up both the fire listings and the humid rating. No light figures are published, the datasheet does not mark it PVC-free, and it gives no view with the shade down. Choose it for a damp room or a code review, not for a bedroom that has to go dark.

Where Mogri Translucent works here
South Florida houses have more humid rooms than most: pool baths, cabana baths, laundry rooms and primary bathrooms with a tub under the window. Mogri Translucent is the honeycomb we would specify there, in Sand or Light Gray to keep the room bright. It is also the one we would show a condo board for a clubhouse, a fitness room or a lobby window, where the fire listings matter. For the bedrooms, its twin is Mogri Blackout, which has neither the listings nor the humid rating.
Mogri Blackout shares the eight colour names and the cell sizes but lists no fire listing and is not rated for humid rooms, so the two are not interchangeable.

Can Mogri Translucent go in a bathroom?
Yes. TOP's datasheet rates it suitable for humid environments and records fungal resistance, and it cleans with a damp cloth, which makes it our honeycomb for a primary bath, a pool bath or a laundry room. It is light-filtering, so a lit bathroom at night shows as a glow with shadows; on a window over a path or a pool deck, plan for that.
Is Mogri Translucent PVC-free?
Not according to TOP's datasheet, which lists it free of lead, halogens, formaldehyde and phthalates but answers no on PVC. Its blackout twin, Mogri Blackout, is listed PVC-free. If a project rules out PVC entirely, choose a honeycomb TOP lists free of it, such as Chianti Translucent, and accept that it carries neither the humid-room rating nor the fire listings.
How wide can a honeycomb shade in TOP Mogri Translucent be?
TOP makes Mogri Translucent in a 300 cm (118 in) roll. The roll width is the widest single piece we can cut, so one honeycomb shade can be made a little under 118 inches wide. Wider openings get two honeycomb shades side by side, set to move together, or a split placed where a mullion hides it. We confirm the exact limit for the operating system when we measure.
Which shades can be made in Mogri Translucent?
Mogri Translucent is a honeycomb shade fabric: the cells come formed in the fabric. We buy it from TOP Window Covering, cut it to the opening in our Fort Lauderdale workroom and build the shade cordless or motorized (Somfy Cord Lift WireFree in the headrail), and our own team installs it from Miami to Palm Beach.
Is Mogri Translucent flame retardant?
TOP's datasheet for Mogri Translucent lists NFPA 701, California Title 19, DIN 4102 B1, BS 5867 Part 2. For a hotel, a condo common area or an office, ask us for the datasheet with your quote: the building's reviewer or the fire marshal will want the listing in writing.
