Findhorn is a Moray cashmere windowpane from Holland & Sherry, in the Moray Cashmere collection they make with Johnstons of Elgin (100% cashmere, 54 in wide, made in the UK). The range runs to 4 colourways: Ivory, Blue, Navy and Mist. Their spec sheet gives its end use as "Light upholstery, drapery, accessories, and soft goods".
The 54 in width runs up the roll, so panels are made of joined widths and the seams fall inside the pleats. The repeat is 1.4 in across, 1.6 in down, matched at every seam and across the windows of a room, so the yardage is worked out on the repeat rather than the finished size.
Cashmere is a protein fibre like wool, soft and light for its warmth; it is lined against the sun, kept behind a shade on bright glass, and happiest in an air-conditioned room (what each fibre does). It weighs 15 oz per linear yard (439 g per linear metre) by Holland & Sherry's figures.

What Findhorn does at the window, and what it does not
Best use
We would make Findhorn up as tailored panels, pinch pleat or ripplefold, lined, for a bedroom, a study or a living room that wants the warmth of a suiting cloth.
Light and privacy
An opaque cloth, so privacy is complete when it is closed. The lining sets the light: a light-filtering sateen keeps a room glowing, an interlining adds body and quiet, a blackout lining turns a bedroom dark (lining guide).

Limitations
Not for unshaded south or west glass on its own: the sun fades natural fibres, so a shade goes in front of it there. At 54 in a wide panel is made of joined widths, and the repeat is matched at every seam, which costs yardage. No NFPA 701 result in Holland & Sherry's data, so a condo common area or a commercial job that asks for it needs the cloth flame treated with a certificate, if Holland & Sherry can supply it that way, or another cloth.

Your designer specifies
Holland & Sherry sell to the trade, so the cloth is chosen and ordered by your designer, with the colour code and the sample in hand. Not working with a designer? Tell us; we can suggest a cloth we order ourselves.
We measure and give the yardage
We measure the windows, settle the style, the fullness and the lining, and work out the yardage on the width and the repeat, so the order to Holland & Sherry is right the first time.
We make and install
The cloth comes to our Fort Lauderdale workroom, where our five in-house seamstresses cut and sew the draperies, and our own installers hang them on the rod, track or motorized system the window calls for.
Where Findhorn works here
In South Florida a wool drapery belongs in an air-conditioned room with the glass shaded: a study, a dining room, a bedroom with a blackout lining, a media room where weight and quiet matter. At the Ritz-Carlton Residences Miami Beach we made two Holland & Sherry wool jacquards up as blackout drapery on Lutron Sivoia QS tracks, to the designer's schedule; Findhorn would be built the same way.
