Zephyr is a wool sateen sheer from Holland & Sherry (100% wool, 123 in wide, made in Italy). It comes in 4 colourways, Pearl, Light Sand, Dove and Fawn. Their spec sheet gives its end use as "Drapery and window treatments".
Holland & Sherry's sheet says it can be used up the roll, as woven, or turned 90 degrees and railroaded; turned 90 degrees, the 123 inch width becomes the drop, so a panel nearly that tall, less the heading and the hem, needs no seam. Holland & Sherry give the repeat as 40.9 in across, 38.19 in down; we match it across every seam and from window to window, which adds yardage and is figured into the order.
Wool is naturally flame resistant but not sun resistant: it fades and weakens in direct sun, so on bright south or west glass a solar roller behind the sheer takes the sun first. It can stretch a little over time in humid air, and it is happiest in an air-conditioned room (what each fibre does). It weighs 290 g per linear metre (about 9 oz per linear yard) by Holland & Sherry's figures.
Their drapery note advises hanging the drapery before it is hemmed, so the cloth settles to the room.

What Zephyr does at the window, and what it does not
Best use
Sheers are our most requested drapery, and Zephyr is made for the long run: floor to ceiling across sliders and window walls on a ceiling-mounted track, ripplefold or pinch pleat, with the fullness set for the cloth.
Light and privacy
A sheer filters hard sunlight into an even glow and keeps the view. It gives no privacy at night with the lights on, so a bedroom takes a lined or blackout panel on a second track behind it.
Cloth and care
100% wool; 290 g per linear metre (about 9 oz per linear yard).
Limitations
No privacy at night with the lights on, and no blackout; it is layered where either is needed. Natural fibres fade in hard sun, so on unshaded south or west glass a solar roller behind it takes the sun first. No NFPA 701 result in Holland & Sherry's data, so a condo common area or a commercial job that asks for it needs the cloth flame treated with a certificate, if Holland & Sherry can supply it that way, or another cloth.

We measure and give the yardage
We measure the windows, settle the style, the fullness and the lining, and work out the yardage on the width and the repeat, so the order to Holland & Sherry is right the first time.
We make and install
The cloth comes to our Fort Lauderdale workroom, where our five in-house seamstresses cut and sew the sheers, and our own installers hang them on the rod, track or motorized system the window calls for.
Where Zephyr works here
On the ocean side of a Sunny Isles or Fort Lauderdale living room, Zephyr would hang floor to ceiling on a ceiling-mounted track, hand-drawn or motorized on Lutron or Somfy, with a solar roller behind it for the glare and, in a bedroom, a blackout panel on a second track. It is cut and sewn in our Fort Lauderdale workroom and installed by our own team from Miami to Palm Beach.
