Four colours, each as a 15% sheer and as a blackoutTier 3
Harika is the Coulisse design that gives the same four colours as a sheer woven at 15% openness and as a blackout, the only pairing of its kind in the Crestron library. The sheer is more open than any other weave in the library, a fabric for softening a view rather than shading it: Crestron's own category for a sheer is a cloth you see objects through, and at 15% openness the water, the garden and the low sun stay in view. The blackout is its night layer, dual sided and passing nothing. Both are 100% polyester at Tier 3 in the Designer Collection, and the pair is built for a dual roller: sheer in front by day, blackout behind after dark, one colour name on both.
The four colours are Light Gray, Sand, Beige and Anthracite, eight colourways in all, the sheer codes ending in 15 and the blackout codes in 0. Widths need watching: the four sheers and the Anthracite blackout are 110 inches, the Beige, Light Gray and Sand blackouts 108, so on a dual roller in those three colours the narrower cloth sets the one-piece limit at 108 inches. Crestron seams Harika but does not railroad it, and offers the Open Pocket, Sealed Pocket and Exposed Blackout hembars. The sheers are not dual sided and the blackouts are, so the blackout face at the glass matches the face in the room while the sheer has a front and a back.
Woven by Coulisse.
What Harika does on your glass, and what it does not
Best use
A bedroom on the shaded side of the house that wants its outlook softened by day and shut at night. Each of the four colours comes as a set: the sheer at 15% openness is the day shade, the blackout the night one, and both carry the same name. Anthracite for the clearest view out; Light Gray, Sand or Beige where the room should stay pale and the street should see less.
Privacy
The two halves answer different hours. By day the sheer is a light veil at best: Light Gray, Sand and Beige throw some daylight back at the street and hide a little more than Anthracite, which gives the least cover. After dark, with a lamp on, the sheer hides nothing, and the blackout takes over completely, apart from a line of light at the edges that side channels and the Exposed Blackout hembar close.
Glare control
The sheer tempers daylight; it does not control it. It takes the hard edge off a bright room, but a television across from the window stays washed out, and a low sun square in the glass shows straight through. Crestron publishes no Tv figure for it. The blackout stops all of it, so the pair has no middle setting for a screen; where glare is the main complaint, start from the openness guide instead.
Limitations
The sheer darkens nothing, hides nothing after dark and does little for heat or sound: it is a view fabric with a blackout partner. The blackout gives no view and holds the sun's heat at the glass. Crestron's guide does not list either half as fire retardant, so where a building asks for that listing, the answer is a fire-listed blackout such as Cosima behind a solar screen.

Ts = solar energy transmitted, Rs = solar energy reflected, As = solar energy absorbed and Tv = visible light transmitted, in percent, as Crestron publishes them in its fabric shop and its Fabric Information Guide (revision 3.23.26) for each colourway; Ts, Rs and As add up to 100. Openness is Crestron's figure; width is the usable roll width. We bring samples of the colours you shortlist to the consultation.

The guide excludes control processors, keypads, interfaces, wiring, power supplies, programming and installation. Source (PDF).
Figures are Crestron's own budgetary MSRP guide of June 2022 for one motorized 5 Series roller shade, motor included, before options. They exclude the control system, wiring, power, programming and installation, and Crestron may have changed them since. We quote every project at the measure.
Where Harika works here
The Harika sheer belongs on a north or shaded elevation: a living room under a deep terrace in a Miami Beach condo, a Coral Gables garden room, the shaded Intracoastal side of a Fort Lauderdale house. Never on a west wall, where a 15% weave passes the afternoon straight through and a solar screen belongs instead. We specify it as a pair, the sheer and its blackout twin on one dual bracket in the bedroom, so the room reads as one colour by day and goes fully dark at night.
Harika is the only Crestron design that pairs a 15% sheer with a blackout in the same four colours; Sena is the next most open sheer in the library and has no blackout twin, and Merinda, Bella, Mika and Nava pair a light-filtering weave with a blackout instead.
Harika: frequently asked
Is the Harika sheer a solar screen?
Crestron classes it as a sheer, and it sits with the solar screens here because it is a woven cloth with an openness factor, but at 15% openness it is the far end of that range. A tight E Screen or SheerWeave 2500 series weave takes the glare off a television and the heat off the glass; Harika lets far more of both through and softens the light instead. Choose it for the look and the matching blackout, and put a tighter solar screen on the glass that fights the sun.
Can the sheer and the blackout be ordered as one Crestron shade?
Yes, as a dual shade: two fabrics on one bracket, which Crestron's budget guide on this page counts as two shades. The sheer tube sits on the room side and the blackout behind it at the glass, each on its own scene, so the bedroom has a veiled daytime setting and a dark one. The pocket has to take two tubes, 5.75 by 4.125 inches on the QMT3 hardware or 9 by 6 on the QMT5 by Crestron's minimums, so we size it before the ceiling is framed.
What does a Crestron shade in Harika cost?
Crestron places this fabric in price Tier 3. Its budgetary guide of June 2022 lists a motorized 5 Series roller shade in a Tier 3 fabric at $1,200 for 3 ft x 5 ft, $1,600 for 5 ft x 10 ft and $2,000 for 10 ft x 10 ft, MSRP, motor included, before options, control, wiring and installation. Options, the control system, wiring and installation are on top; we quote the finished shade at the measure.
How wide can a Crestron shade in Harika be?
Crestron lists a usable roll width of 110 inches or 108 inches for Harika; it is not railroaded, so an opening wider than the roll takes two shades side by side, coupled on one bracket with the light gap set at a mullion. We confirm the limit for the chosen hardware when we measure.
