The fabrics that pass a specification
Lutron's Commercial Collection is the subset of the library that carries the paperwork a commercial project asks for: published fire listings (NFPA 701 on nearly every fabric here, with NFPA 101, CA Title 19, CAN/ULC-S109, ASTM E84 Class 1 and European listings on many), GREENGUARD certification, Health Product Declarations for a number of designs, and PVC-free and recycled-content options for LEED and WELL projects. It covers 517 colourways in 27 designs: the full solar screen range, the fire-rated blackouts (Encore, Element, Luna Blackout FR, Mosaic Blackout, Blackout Screen, Premiere, Standard), the light-filtering specification fabrics (Loop, Bistre, GreenScreen Evolve, Tela) and the new Ethos sheer.
Every design page lists the fire ratings and certifications exactly as Lutron publishes them for each colourway, and links to Lutron's documents where they exist. We supply the submittals with the quote.

NFPA 701 only
The baseline for hotel guest rooms and most commercial interiors in Florida. Nearly every fabric on this page carries it.
NFPA 101 / ASTM E84
Asked for in assembly spaces, healthcare and some corporate interiors. Basketweave 90 C, Basketweave Eco2, Encore, Ethos and Jacquard list one or both.
PVC-free and recycled content
Basketweave Eco2 (100% recycled TPO), Sheerweave 8000 and GreenScreen Evolve (Cradle to Cradle), Loop (recycled PET), Ethos, Encore, Element, Tela. Health Product Declarations are published for E Screen, M Screen, Basketweave 27 and 90, Sheerweave 4900, Element, GreenScreen Evolve and OmniaScreen Silver among others.
Acoustics and heat
Sheerweave 4900 has the highest published NRC (0.60); OmniaScreen Silver the highest solar reflectance in a dark face (75%); the KOOLBLACK screens the best view-to-heat balance in charcoal.
Commercial work in South Florida
Our commercial Lutron work covers hotels, restaurants, offices and the common areas of condo towers, where the association's fire and appearance rules govern the fabric. Which Lutron shade fabrics are NFPA 701 rated?
Nearly every fabric in the Commercial Collection: all the fiberglass and vinyl solar screens, Encore, Element, Luna Blackout FR, Mosaic Blackout, Blackout Screen, Premiere, Standard, Tela, Loop, Bistre, GreenScreen Evolve and Ethos. Each design page shows the exact listing per colourway.
Do you provide fire certificates and HPDs?
We supply the Lutron documents that exist for the chosen fabric with the submittal: fire certificates, Health Product Declarations, GREENGUARD and Cradle to Cradle certificates. Links to Lutron's copies are on each design page.
Which fabrics suit a hotel guest room?
A fire-rated solar screen (E Screen, T Screen, Basketweave 90 C) at the glass and a fire-rated blackout (Encore, Luna Blackout FR, Mosaic Blackout) behind it on a dual roller is the standard hospitality specification, in colours matched to the room scheme.
Can condo common areas use these fabrics?
Yes, and they usually must: lobbies, gyms and club rooms fall under commercial fire requirements. We work with the association's rules on exterior appearance as well, which is where the back-colour options on several screens matter.
