TOP Twinlight Fusion Fabric
13 colourways, zebra: 7 cm sheer bands and 10 cm solid bands (2 3/4 in and 4 in), 280 cm roll. TOP Window Covering fabric, made into zebra shades in our Fort Lauderdale workroom and installed from Miami to Palm Beach.
Wide bands in warm and coastal colours, for big windows in rooms that are not all white
Twinlight Fusion is a wide-band zebra fabric from TOP Window Covering, and it is the Twinlight card to open when a room is built around wood, clay and stone rather than white. Its 13 colourways put Potter's Clay, Golden Oak, Sea Foam and Adriatic Blue alongside White, Ivory, Sand and Anthracite. The bands are broad: a 7 cm sheer band, a little under three inches, beside a 10 cm solid band of about four, so on a large window the stripe holds together across the room. The cloth is heat-set 100% polyester, 0.35 mm thick and 140 g/m2.
TOP publishes no light or solar figures for Fusion, so the choice is made on the sample, at the window, in your own light. The construction still tells you how it behaves. With the bands aligned, the open stripes give a filtered view of the outside; offset, solid band covers every open stripe and the colour decides how much light gets past. Expect Anthracite to close darkest and give the clearest view out, and White and Ivory to close brightest and send the most heat back. TOP rates colour fastness to light at 5 - 6, a good rating, so the warm colours can go on sunny glass.
What Twinlight Fusion does on your glass, and what it does not
Best use
Living rooms, family rooms and principal bedrooms with large windows, in houses whose palette runs to wood, clay and stone. Golden Oak, Potter's Clay and Taupe sit with warm floors; Sea Foam and Adriatic Blue suit a room on the water. Where a window takes hard afternoon sun, take a mid or deep colour, which holds back more light when closed. For big glass in a warm room, Fusion is the Twinlight to choose.
Privacy
By day, closed bands hide the room in every colour, while open bands let anyone near the window look in. Night is harder to call, because TOP publishes no figures. Expect White, Ivory and Misty Rose to give away silhouettes once the lamps are on and Anthracite to hide more, and check it with a lamp behind the sample. Where a bedroom needs assured night privacy, a blackout honeycomb or a dual roller does it.
Glare control
With the bands aligned, the open stripes pass most of the sun, so a television facing the window gets bars of light across it. Offset, the solid band softens the glare in the pale colours and holds it down further in Anthracite. Without published figures we would not promise a screen-friendly colour, so for a media room the sample goes against the actual screen. No zebra stops a low sun with the bands open.
Limitations
Fusion will not darken a bedroom, and on unshaded west glass it will not hold back the heat with the bands open, because the open stripes pass most of the sun: there, a solar shade is the right tool. It carries no fire listing, so it is not for a hotel room or a condo common area. And with no optical rows, it cannot go into a specification that quotes them.

Where Twinlight Fusion works here
Fusion suits the warmer South Florida interiors: a Mediterranean-style house in Coral Gables or Boca Raton with oak floors and terracotta, or a Palm Beach condo done in sand and taupe. We would use the wide bands on sliders and tall living-room glass, where a narrow stripe turns to texture, and cut side-by-side shades so the bands line up across the opening. On Lutron or Somfy motors, every shade in the room stops at the same band position.
Twinlight Dixie XL has the same thickness, weight and wide bands, in ten neutrals with published light figures; Fusion is the warmer, more coloured card without them.
Twinlight Fusion: frequently asked
Why are there no light figures for Fusion?
TOP's Fusion datasheet covers the construction, the band widths, the fade rating and the care, but has no optical rows, so there is no published percentage for light, solar energy or UV. We judge it the practical way: the sample held to your glass in daylight, and a lamp behind it for the night view. If a specification has to quote numbers, Twinlight Dixie XL has the same weight and bands with published figures.
Are wide bands right for my window?
On sliders, corner glass and tall windows, yes: a 10 cm solid band and a 7 cm sheer band read as a clear stripe from across the room. On a short window over a kitchen counter, a few wide stripes can look heavy, and a fine-striped Twinlight such as Dixie sits better. We show both against the actual opening before you decide.
How wide can a zebra shade in TOP Twinlight Fusion be?
TOP makes Twinlight Fusion in a 280 cm (110 in) roll. The roll width is the widest single piece we can cut, so one zebra shade can be made a little under 110 inches wide. Wider openings get two zebra shades side by side, set to move together, or a split placed where a mullion hides it. We confirm the exact limit for the operating system when we measure.
Which shades can be made in Twinlight Fusion?
Twinlight Fusion is a zebra shade fabric: one continuous loop of fabric with alternating sheer and solid bands. We buy it from TOP Window Covering and make the zebra shades in our Fort Lauderdale workroom, on a manual chain or motorized on Lutron or Somfy, and our own team installs them from Miami to Palm Beach.
Can I see Twinlight Fusion samples before ordering?
Yes. Shortlist the colours here and we bring TOP samples of them to the in-home consultation, so you can hold them against your own glass in your own light. Our Fort Lauderdale workroom (4539 Powerline Rd, by appointment) and Miami Beach showroom (500 South Pointe Dr #150) have motorized shades running if you want to see one move.
