TOP Twinlight Linea Fabric
11 colourways, zebra: 5 cm sheer bands and 7.5 cm solid bands (2 in and 3 in), 280 cm roll. TOP Window Covering fabric, made into zebra shades in our Fort Lauderdale workroom and installed from Miami to Palm Beach.
Narrow bands on a heavier cloth, for contemporary rooms in grey, blue or black
Twinlight Linea is the heaviest of TOP Window Covering's narrow-band zebra fabrics, apart from the flame-retardant C-Screen. Its bands are 5 cm sheer and 7.5 cm solid, about two inches and three, on 100% polyester 0.52 mm thick at 170 g/m2, which gives the shade more body at the window than Seasons, Dixie or Blues. Eleven colourways run from Cloud and London Fog through Moroccan Blue and Toffee to two blacks, Black Onyx and Jet Black. It suits a room with plain walls and darker furniture, where the stripe is seen up close.
Linea is one of the Twinlight designs TOP sells without a datasheet, so there is no light or solar row, no fade rating and no fire listing to quote, only what the collection page shows. That changes how we specify it: the colour is chosen on the sample, held to your glass with the bands open and closed. The construction still gives the basics. Open, it shows the view through the sheer bands; closed, it puts solid cloth across the whole window, and the two blacks should close darkest. The honest trade-off is that you buy Linea for its look, not for a number.
What Twinlight Linea does on your glass, and what it does not
Best use
Contemporary rooms with plain walls, on windows of ordinary height where the narrow stripe is seen at close range: a condo living room, a study, a bedroom, a dressing room. Take Jet Black or Black Onyx for a strong line, Cloud or London Fog where the shade should fade into the wall, Moroccan Blue or Toffee where the room wants colour. Decide only after seeing the sample at your own window.
Privacy
Daytime privacy works as on any zebra shade: offset, solid band sits in front of every open stripe, and from the street the shade reads as one closed panel. Night is the open question, because TOP publishes no light figures. Expect the pale colours to show movement against the lamplight and the blacks to hide more; a lamp behind the sample confirms it. For certain night privacy, a blackout honeycomb is the safe choice.
Glare control
Aligned, the open stripes let the sun straight through and throw bars of light across a television or a monitor. Offset, the solid band softens it, and a black should hold it down further, but with no published light figure we cannot say how far. For a media room or a desk facing the window, choose a design with figures, such as Dixie XL in Gunmetal, or test the sample against the screen.
Limitations
Linea is not the fabric for a project that has to be documented: with no datasheet there is no fire listing for a hotel or a common area, no fade rating for hot glass and no optical row for a designer's schedule or a condo board. It will not black out a bedroom, which wants a blackout shade. And on a tall shade the thicker roll may not fit a shallow pocket.

Where Twinlight Linea works here
In South Florida we would put Linea in a contemporary condo in Brickell or Fort Lauderdale with white walls and dark furniture, on bedroom and living-room windows of ordinary height, where a narrow stripe is seen from a few feet away. Jet Black or Black Onyx draws a crisp line; Cloud or London Fog lets the shade recede. On tall glass the thicker cloth builds a larger roll, so we confirm the cassette or pocket depth first. We motorize it on Lutron or Somfy.
Twinlight Blues is the documented alternative: the same narrow bands on a slightly thinner, lighter cloth, with a datasheet and published light figures, for when a specification needs numbers.
Twinlight Linea: frequently asked
How much light does Linea let through?
There is no published answer, because TOP issues no datasheet for Linea. We show it instead: the colours you shortlist go against your glass in daylight, bands open and closed, and a lamp behind the sample shows what the street will see at night. If a designer's schedule or a condo board needs a published figure, choose a Twinlight design that has one, such as Blues, Dixie XL or Seasons.
Is Linea a good choice for floor-to-ceiling glass?
It works, with two caveats. The roll on a zebra shade carries both layers of the loop, and at 0.52 mm Linea is thicker than most Twinlight cloths, so a tall drop makes a large roll that needs a deeper cassette or pocket. And a 5 cm sheer band reads as fine texture from across a big room. On very tall glass, a wide-band design often looks better.
How wide can a zebra shade in TOP Twinlight Linea be?
TOP makes Twinlight Linea in a 280 cm (110.2 in) roll. The roll width is the widest single piece we can cut, so one zebra shade can be made a little under 110.2 inches wide. Wider openings get two zebra shades side by side, set to move together, or a split placed where a mullion hides it. We confirm the exact limit for the operating system when we measure.
Which shades can be made in Twinlight Linea?
Twinlight Linea is a zebra shade fabric: one continuous loop of fabric with alternating sheer and solid bands. We buy it from TOP Window Covering and make the zebra shades in our Fort Lauderdale workroom, on a manual chain or motorized on Lutron or Somfy, and our own team installs them from Miami to Palm Beach.
Can I see Twinlight Linea samples before ordering?
Yes. Shortlist the colours here and we bring TOP samples of them to the in-home consultation, so you can hold them against your own glass in your own light. Our Fort Lauderdale workroom (4539 Powerline Rd, by appointment) and Miami Beach showroom (500 South Pointe Dr #150) have motorized shades running if you want to see one move.
