A wide-stripe zebra in five grays and neutrals, chosen by eye rather than by numbers
Twinlight Tango is a 100% polyester zebra fabric from TOP Window Covering with a wide stripe: a 6 cm sheer band and a 10 cm solid band, about 2.4 and 4 inches. It sits mid-weight in the Twinlight line at 0.47 mm and 160 g/m2. The five colours are Ivory, Sand, Silver Gray, Slate and Dark Gray. Lowered with the bands aligned, it shows alternate open and solid stripes; offset, it closes into an almost continuous face.
TOP publishes no datasheet for Tango: no light or heat figures, no fire listings and no certificates. We would not promise a dark room or a cool one from it, so it is a choice for living and dining rooms, made on colour, with the sample held against your window in the room's own light. Where darkness, heat or a fire review is part of the brief, a Twinlight design with a datasheet is the safer order.
What Twinlight Tango does on your glass, and what it does not
Best use
Living rooms, dining rooms, studies and guest rooms on north, east or shaded glass, where the stripe and the grays are the reason to choose it. Ivory or Sand keeps a room bright; Slate or Dark Gray dims it and sits with a darker interior. Decision: Tango for the look on an easy window, a design with a datasheet anywhere the light has to be controlled.
Privacy
Offset, the solid band hides the room by day. After dark we would plan for light-filtering behavior, meaning silhouettes of people near a lamp, and with the bands aligned the sheer stripes show the room. Where night privacy matters, choose a zebra with an opaque solid band or a blackout honeycomb shade.
Glare control
Without figures, the light class is the guide. Offset, the solid band softens direct sun, more in Slate and Dark Gray than in Ivory; aligned, the sheer stripes pass it in bars, and a low sun in line with the window comes straight in. We would not promise a glare-free TV on a west window in any colour.
Limitations
Do not order Tango for a dark bedroom, a west media room, or a hotel or condo common area: with no datasheet, its darkness, heat and fire behavior cannot be documented. Five colours is a short card too. For a fire-listed zebra, see Twinlight C-Screen.

Where Twinlight Tango works here
Tango fits the rooms where the window is easy: north and east living rooms, dining rooms, a study off a shaded terrace. On unshaded west glass in Fort Lauderdale or Boca Raton we would steer you to a design with published figures, so the afternoon sun is a known quantity. Slate and Dark Gray suit a darker interior; Ivory and Sand keep a room bright. Motorized, it runs on Lutron or Somfy.
Twinlight Samba shares the 6 cm and 10 cm band layout and comes with a datasheet that shows its solid band blacking out, which makes it the choice when the closed shade has to go near-dark.

How can I tell how much light Tango lets through?
Only by looking, because TOP publishes no datasheet or light figures for it. At the consultation we hold the sample's solid band against the brightest light your room gets and judge it there. If what you see is not enough, a design TOP has measured takes the guesswork out.
How wide can a zebra shade in TOP Twinlight Tango be?
TOP makes Twinlight Tango in a 280 cm (110.2 in) roll. The roll width is the widest single piece we can cut, so one zebra shade can be made a little under 110.2 inches wide. Wider openings get two zebra shades side by side, set to move together, or a split placed where a mullion hides it. We confirm the exact limit for the operating system when we measure.
Which shades can be made in Twinlight Tango?
Twinlight Tango is a zebra shade fabric: one continuous loop of fabric with alternating sheer and solid bands. We buy it from TOP Window Covering and make the zebra shades in our Fort Lauderdale workroom, on a manual chain or motorized on Lutron or Somfy, and our own team installs them from Miami to Palm Beach.
Can I see Twinlight Tango samples before ordering?
