Crestron roller shade hardware
The four ways a Crestron shade meets the ceiling: in a pocket, behind a fascia, on a jamb cover, or in the open on a Decor bracket, plus the sheer and cable-guided systems.
About Crestron roller shade hardware
Crestron's hardware catalogue is 9 items in four ranges: the Architectural systems (CSS-ARCH3, CSS-ARCH5) with brackets, pockets, fascia, top and back covers and blackout channels; the Decor systems (CSS-DECOR3, CSS-DECOR5) with exposed brackets and decorative end caps; the horizontal sheer shade with its tilting vanes; and the cable guide for angled windows. Each Architectural and Decor system is built around one motor, the QMT3 or the QMT5.
Every model on these pages is on crestron.com today, with Crestron's own specifications. Exotic Shades is Crestron certified in Fort Lauderdale and Miami Beach; Crestron builds each shade to order from our measurements; we install it with our own team and commission it with your integrator.
How the hardware is chosen
Recessed pocket
The finish most of our Crestron clients want: an aluminum pocket in the ceiling, framed before drywall, from 3 x 3 inches for a small QMT3 shade. How we detail pockets.
Fascia or top and back cover
On a finished ceiling a square or curved fascia hides the roll; in a window jamb a top and back cover does the same from inside the opening. Five finishes on both.
Decor, in the open
Exposed brackets with end caps in eight finishes when the shade is meant to be seen: lofts, offices, modern kitchens.
Blackout channels
U-channels at the sides, an H-channel between two shades and a sill angle at the bottom close the light gaps a roller alone leaves. Blackout shades.
